Romelu Lukaku has moved ahead of Edin Dzeko to become favourite to start in attack for Inter in this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Porto.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Belgian is now likelier of the pair of strikers to start alongside Lautaro Martinez this evening.

The question of which striker to start alongside Martinez looks to be Inter coach Simone Inzaghi’s main selection doubt ahead of this evening’s match.

There is virtually no question that Martinez will be in the starting eleven, but it will remain to be seen which of Lukaku and Dzeko start alongside the Argentine.

According to the Gazzetta, however, Lukaku is favourite.

The newspaper’s complete predicted starting eleven for this evening’s match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Lukaku, Lautaro.
