Inter’s directors are set to meet with coach Simone Inzaghi and his staff tomorrow when training resumes for a round of crisis talks.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri directors could also break their silence today following the team’s dismal 1-0 loss to Bologna in Serie A yesterday afternoon.

After yesterday’s highly damaging loss away to Bologna, Inter’s directors remained tight-lipped as far as reacting to the result, with the coach and striker Lautaro Martinez the ones who gave a public face to the team’s disappointment.

However, the Gazzetta reports, the club directors are set to take the opportunity to intervene starting today, likely giving a statement after yesterday’s result.

Moreover, the newspaper reports, tomorrow the directors will meet with Inzaghi and his staff.

Given that results such as yesterday’s obviously cannot be tolerated if the team is to reach its minimum objective of qualifying for top four in Serie A, the directors will speak with Inzaghi about how the coach plans to right the ship as soon as possible.
