Defender Milan Skriniar and wingback Federico Dimarco are both major injury doubts for Inter in Sunday evening’s Serie A match against Lecce.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair are not looking likely to recover from their respective injuries in time for Sunday’s match.
Both Skriniar and Dimarco had been out injured from Inter’s Serie A loss away to Bologna last weekend.
The pair have both been aiming for a recovery in time to play in this weekend’s match against Lecce, but with only a couple of days left to go, it is looking relatively unlikely that either will be fit to start.
Matteo Darmian and Robin Gosens would therefore be the players set to take their places respectively.
The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:
Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Gosens; Lukaku, Lautaro.
