Inter got a massive win in Serie A by beating Lazio yesterday afternoon.

The Nerazzurri needed three points to keep up at the top of the Serie A table, capitalizing on a draw between Roma and AC Milan.

It wasn’t easy after the Biancocelesti went ahead in the first half, but Inter kept pushing and brought home all three points with a brace by Lautaro Martinez and a goal by Robin Gosens.

Striker Lautaro Martinez reached an important goalscoring milestone, as highlighted in a tweet by football statistics account Opta.

They tweeted, “Lautaro Martínez is the third Inter player to score more than 15 goals in at least three Serie A seasons in a row in the last 55 years, after Christian Vieri (between 2000/01 and 2002/03) and Mauro Icardi (four, between 2014/15 and 2017/18). Aries.”
