Inter Milan wingback Robin Gosens did not necessarily have the easiest of starts to the 2022-23 season.

The German found himself behind Federico Dimarco in the pecking order. Moreover, there was a sense that some lingering fitness problems were still holding back his form.

However, as the campaign wore on, Gosens more than proved his worth. He offered Inter a fresh option during the run-in of the season.

Moreover, the former Atalanta star had already scored an absolutely vital goal against Barcelona.

Inter Milan took to Instagram to praise Robin Gosens for his “Athleticism, speed, and excellent crosses into the box.”
