Inter Milan are wrapping up talks with US-based streaming service Paramount+ to become their main shirt sponsor for next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the decision has been made that the streaming service will replace DigitalBits on the front of the Nerazzurri’s shirt on a permanent basis, with a three-year deal starting next season.

Inter are aiming to have the new sponsor in place for the start of their preseason. That is now less than a week away.

Over the last two matches of last season, streaming service Paramount+ had their logo on the Nerazzurri’s shirt. This notably included the Champions League final against Manchester City.

This had initially seemed to be only a temporary solution, however.

Whilst it has always been confirmed that Paramount+’s logo would remain on Inter’s shirt, it seemed as though it would only be as the back shirt sponsor. As far as the more lucrative main shirt sponsor on the front, the Nerazzurri have been looking at other possibiloty

According to Sky, however, the streaming service will be more than a temporary solution.

The broadcaster reports that the negotiations are now coming to a positive conclusion with Paramount+.

On the other hand, alks with Korean Air and Wizz Air have not resulted in an agreement.

Meanwhile, all of Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, LeoVegas, Binance, and Hisense have been in the frame throughout the process.

However, Inter have not been able to agree a deal with any of these prospective new sponsors.

Accordingly, Sky report, the Nerazzurri have instead turned to Paramount+, with whom they already had an agreement for the tail end of last season.

Paramount+ are keen on the deal, having failed to agree a partnership with any Premier League teams. The English top flight has declined to allow the streaming service to be the main shirt sponsor for any teams within it due to conflicts with their broadcasting partners.

As such, Inter will almost certainly extend their partnership with Paramount+ from the end of last season. They will sign a three-year deal, worth €20 million per season.

With this agreement, the Nerazzurri will finally find a permanent main shirt sponsor after the DigitalBits debacle of last season.

They should also meet their target of having an agreement in hand for the start of preseason.
