When it rains, it pours. After the loss of Esteban Cambiasso to injury, Walter Mazzarri has recieved more bad news concerning the fitness of Ricky Alvarez. Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning that a pulled hamstring will sideline the Argentinian international for three weeks but a months absence can’t be ruled out. It is possible however that Inter could have one of their leading men back for the trip to Rome on March 1st.

i want them runing like madness plz use this mazzarri we have the quality i feel we like bayermunich.and let palacio relax.
Alvarez is actually not a stable player. He will turn 26 this season, so he is not a young and immature player. He is just not an Inter material, in my opinion. Maybe it is not because of him, maybe it is because of WM and his instructions to Alvarez. Anyway, get well soon Ricky. It’s time to give more chance to Botta and Kovacic!
Good for him actually to take a break. I’ve said that during the Juventus Game.
To my eyes, Alvarez has been useless for months now…yes, he had a good start to the season, but that was September and October… in the last 3 months though, all he and Nagatomo have done is trip over each other and neither of them can deliver a decent cross.
yes, Botta time.
