Striker Marcus Thuram will start for Inter Milan in this evening’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old will be in the starting lineup for the Nerazzurri as coach Simone Inzaghi prepares to name an unchanged eleven.

So far this season, Inter coach Inzaghi has looked to balance players he knows and trusts with new arrivals.

The 47-year-old has largely relied upon players who were already at the club last season to start matches against Monza and Cagliari.

Then, during the second halves of those matches, the coach has used summer signings as substitutes. Players like Marko Arnautovic, Carlos Augusto, and Juan Cuadrado have gotten run-outs from the bench.

But one player who Inzaghi has thrown straight into the deep end is striker Thuram.

The Frenchman started for Inter in both of their Serie A matches so far.

With Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku both gone, Inzaghi is already changing things up in attack. And Thuram is the player he has turned to to form a new-look partnership with Lautaro Martinez.

Marcus Thuram Will Once Again Start For Inter Vs Fiorentina

Against Fiorentina, Mediaset anticipate, Thuram will once again get the nod from the first minute.

In all of defense, midfield, and on the flanks, Inzaghi will stick with players who were integral to Inter’s run to the Champions League final last season.

And captain Lautaro Martinez will lead the line. But Thuram will be the player who partners the Argentine.

Meanwhile, Yann Sommmer will once again start in goal for the Nerqazzurri.

And Mediaset report that both Benjamin Pavard and Davy Klaassen will be on the bench for Inter, just days after signing.

The broadcaster’s complete predicted Inter eleven is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Darmian, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro.
