Tonight’s match-winner and captain, Walter Samuel, was interviewed by Inter Channel after the win against Sassuolo and it was a noticable releaved Samuel who answered Roberto Scarpini’s questions.
“It was fundamentally important that we win and thankfully we were able to win. It felt like a liberation, wehave suffered a lot but we deserved to win. Sometimes these kinds of closed matches can be complicated.”
Then Samuel was asked to give his thoughts on Ruben Botta: “Objectively speaking I can say that we have all been surprised by Ruben Botta: he has a great personality and he always asks for the ball as he has no fears. We have a good group and I think that we played well, today we were able to win and this gives us confidence. The fact that everyone is doing well physically helps us now towards the last part of the season” Samuel concluded.
