The agent of Inter Milan transfer target Andrea Colpani insists that his client’s priority is to continue to do well at Monza.

The 24-year-old has been one of the revelations of the Serie A campaign, taking his game up a notch.

The attacking midfielder’s surprising goal-scoring form has attracted the interest of several top suitors in Italian football, including Inter and Juventus.

The Atalanta youth product has thus far delivered six strikes in 12 Serie A fixtures in addition to a single assist.

But regardless of all transfer speculations, agent Tullio Tinti insists that the midfielder is only focused on Monza.

“I’m very happy for Andrea. He’s a good lad, he comes from a Brescian family. I’ve known him since he was a child,” said the agent in his interview with Rai Radio 1 Sport via FcInterNews.

“His recent improvement has been exceptional. He has great qualities and is doing his job with great humility and commitment. He’s reaping the fruits of many sacrifices and many years of apprenticeship.

“He must continue to improve. Football doesn’t give you anything for granted, especially in Italy where local players are considered inferior to foreigners.

“In this role as an attacking midfielder, he manages to express his technical and physical qualities.

“They call him El Flaco because he is thin, but he is also 1.88m tall. When Palladino thrusted him near the penalty box, he became lethal.

“Future? Now he’s focused on Monza. Also, the Azzurri call-up is the maximum aspiration for any young Italian.”
