Official – Inter Milan Confirm Signing Of Slovenia Midfielder Luka Topalovic

The Nerazzurri announce that they have signed midfielder Topalovic on a permanent deal.

The club does not officially announce the duration of the Slovenian’s contract.

Topalovic will begin life at Inter by playing in the youth team setup. The 18-year-old is expected to play for the Nerazzurri’s Primavera or Under-19 team starting next season.

Then, the Slovenian could be offered a pathway into the first team. He could also have a loan in his future within the next year or two.

Despite his young age, Topalovic has already been a regular in the first team of Slovenian club Domzale for a couple of years now.

Having made his first senior appearance for the Slovenian club in 2022, Topalovic has made a total of 51 appearances. He has scored three goals and made six assists for the club.

Topalovic has yet to win a cap for Slovenia’s senior team.

However, the 18-year-old has been a regular at various youth team levels, up to Under-19.

Slovenia is also the nationality of former Inter captain Samir Handanovic, who retired from football last summer.

The Guardian has included Topalovic in a list of the best footballers born in 2006.
