Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani netted a winning goal as Albania squeaked past Georgia in their last UEFA Nations League game.
Sylvinho’s side claimed an all-important 1-0 win in Tbilisi on Monday to reignite their pursuit of League A promotion.
Kristjan Asllani led the charge at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium.
His second-half strike settled an evenly-contested affair, helping Albania return into the promotion frame.
After the game, Asllani hailed the team’s effort on Instagram, saying: “Great win! Happy 100th birthday to you!”
