Lautaro Martinez was one of several Inter Milan first-team stars to appear in Monday night’s Ballon d’Or gala.

Last season’s most prolific Serie A striker attended the ceremony alongside Yann Sommer and Hakan Calhanoglu.

The formidable trio formed the backbone of Inter’s inexorable march to their 20th Scudetto in 2023/24.

After the ceremony, Martinez took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion.

He posted a photo expressing his delight about joining a select group of players to be at the ceremony.

“Ballon d’Or 2024,” was the caption alongside the image.
