The London Evening Standard report that Inter are leading the chase for the signature of John Obi Mikel. It was thought that Erick Thohir was more concerned with grabbing the out of favour Spaniard Fernando Torres but Inter’s priority is now Mikel. Chelsea will not sell on the cheap and are asking for around £10 million for the Nigerian international. Obi Mikel was close to signing for Galatasaray last summer and it is possible that the Turkish club could follow up that interest this year.
