SkySport24 reports today that Inter-coach Walter Mazzarri is considering surrendering his way of playing with three central defenders and instead play with two central defenders and two full-backs in a more traditional way. This is seemingly the plan for Inter ahead of next season when the Nerazzurri are expected to line-up with Nemanja Vidic and Juan Jesus as the duo to keep the shots away from Samir Handanovic.
Sky: Mazzarri could switch to four men at the back

Juan and Vidic as the centre backs sounds some solid defence. But I doubt this’ll happen
Yea juan en vidic den nagatomo en zaneti
I love Zanetti. He is my personal hero and rolemodel. But, we can’t expect him to be our starter for next season. I would love to keep him as a sub, but he probably deserves to close his career in a more honorable way, than being a sub.
It will be the greatest miracle if WM changes his mighty 3-defenders scheme!!
if 4 back then its def 4-5-1 juan jesus as left back, vidic & rolando on center, nagatomo pushed as left winger, but i don’t think Mazzari will change the system 😀
WM cannot count to FOUR when thinking of defenders. 1,2,3…1,2,3…1,2,3…
Or we could play 4-3-1-2 where the only wingers we need would be full-backs.
Really?? Okay makes sense in the way that Vidic has never played in a 3 man defense – but wouldn’t it mean playing with 4-5-1/4-3-3 system? Do we have the wingers required for that system? Or would we bring in some quality wingers this summer? Biabiany would be a great, former Inter, buy!
But still, this is only a romour, why should Mazza change!
Sounds good to me. And love the picture, typical WM.
