Rumours linking Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani with La Liga side Real Betis are reportedly wide of the mark.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that Inter coach Cristian Chivu appreciates the 22-year-old, whilst Betis have not offered nearly enough in terms of a fee.
Earlier today, rumours emerged linking Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani with Real Betis.
Reportedly, the Andalusian club are keen to sign the Albanian midfielder as a replacement for Johnny Cardoso following the American’s move to Atletico Madrid.
There are even reports from Spain that Betis are making significant progress in talks for Asllani.
Report – Kristjan Asllani Inter Milan Rumours Wide Of The Mark

However, according to FCInterNews, Inter are actually in no hurry to offload Asllani this summer.
The former Empoli midfielder found plenty of playing time at the Club World Cup. He started all Inter’s matches with Hakan Calhanoglu suspended.
And FCIN report that Asllani has earned the trust of new Inter coach Cristian Chivu with his performances.
Therefore, while Inter will listen to offers for the 22-year-old, they’re not going to get rid of him in any cut-price deals.
Therefore, the €6-8 million that Betis are reportedly willing to pay for a portion of Asllani’s playing rights would not convince Inter.
Moreover, FCIN report, Betis have not approached Kristjan Asllani himself. And the Albanian is in no rush himself to leave Inter this summer.
He’s worse then some of our young players that never get a chance.
Yet this guy keeps getting the chances and keep under performing like every time. He must understands Inter are a top team and everytime someone plays there’s a certain standard and not just play it safe. A player like Barella does it every time and when it works out Inter score and create dangerous chances while this guy is not bothered to do anything and play like a CB in midfield position in fact Bisseck would be much better in his position becuase he has the balls to take some risks and venture forward or try something different and not constant sideways and backwards passes regardless of Inter’s situation
He was dreadful, as he always is, barella literally shouting at him from the first minute because he’s always out of position.
If chivu thinks asllani / Bonny are champions league level players then we have a real problem brewing.
If he earned Chivus trust with those performances, it is very worrying.
yes, indeed
