Inter Milan prodigy Valentin Carboni is reportedly on the verge of joining Genoa on a season-long loan without an option to buy.

Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, several ‘special’ bonuses will compensate for the lack of a purchase option.

Valentin Carboni is ready for another loan spell after recovering from a long-term injury.

Indeed, he joined Olympique Marseille last summer but had to return to San Siro midway through the season.

Although Carboni fared well in North America, he is still not ready for a prominent role at San Siro.

Therefore, Inter will send him on loan at Genoa to gain experience and, more importantly, secure regular first-team football.

However, Patrick Vieira’s charges could add another ex-Nerazzurri star this summer.

Indeed, they’ve opened talks with Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian is available on a free transfer after his contract at Atalanta ran out in June.
