Hakan Calhanoglu will likely stay at Inter Milan next season despite being heavily linked with a summer departure.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Turkey international could leave the club next year.

Calhanoglu’s contract at San Siro runs out in 2027.

However, the club has started questioning his loyalty amid another uncertain transfer window.

Indeed, the 31-year-old has given Inter every reason to doubt his commitment to this shirt.

Despite Fenerbahce and Galatasaray’s attempts to sign him, Hakan Calhanoglu will probably stay put.

Yet, his behavior during alleged talks between the Turkish clubs and his agent raised suspicions about his desire to stay.

Meanwhile, Inter seem ready to turn a blind eye one last time.

Although Lautaro Martinez didn’t mince his words after Inter’s loss to Fluminense, the parties are willing to mind their fences.

Therefore, a reconciliation is on the cards, albeit it could only be a temporary solution.

Next summer, Calhanoglu will be 32, giving Inter fewer reasons to keep him on board.
