Genoa defender Koni De Winter has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Serie A runners-up Inter Milan.
According to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad via FCInterNews, Inter and De Winter have reached a ‘verbal agreement.’
Despite accepting Inter’s contract offer, Koni De Winter is still a Genoa player.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri must convince the Griffins to sell their star defender, which won’t be simple.
Indeed, Patrick Vieira’s men value the Belgian center-back at €25 million.
Inter Milan Reach Verbal Agreement with Genoa Ace Koni De Winter

De Winter has not been Inter’s primary defensive target this summer.
Although he had an outstanding season at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Inter had hoped to sign Giovanni Leoni.
However, Parma’s €40 million asking price and their unwillingness to budge on it seem to have deterred the Nerazzurri.
As such, Cristian Chivu’s men have turned to alternate targets.
De Winter was one of the revelations in Serie A last term, cementing his place as Genoa’s defensive cornerstone.
With that in mind, the Griffins will unlikely lower their demands.
is he better than bisseck??
don’t like him at all.. wait for one more year, we will have calafiori or dragusin available for the same price. I think with 4 at the back, we have pavard, basto, bisseck, agusto, and the three grandpas. we are sort of covered for this year.
If we can’t get Leoni, I wonder whether a bid for Calafiori is out of the question for this summer, especially with Arsenal signing Mosquera, and Miles Skelly being first choice left back….
we aren’t playing with 4 at the back tho….
3-4-2-1..
3-4-1-2..
3-5-2..
we won’t usually change to 4 at the back.
i dont like him
