Ademola Lookman has left Italy amid a standstill in talks between Atalanta and Inter Milan.

According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, the Nigerian continues to refuse to report for training in Zingonia.

Negotiations between the clubs have reached an impasse as they seem unable to bridge a minor valuation gap.

Indeed, Inter’s second bid, worth €45 million, fell just shy of Atalanta’s €50 million asking price.

However, this relatively marginal difference could still derail the whole deal.

Ademola Lookman is desperate to wear the Inter shirt and is doing everything to make that happen.

Yet, his efforts have produced no effect, with Atalanta unfazed by his rebellion.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian star is still far away as he aims to sever ties with La Dea at all costs.

Part of the reason for Lookman’s absence is injury-related.

Indeed, he has been struggling with a calf problem for almost a month now.

But he seems to have used that as an excuse to force his transfer to San Siro.
