Galatasaray are preparing to make an offer to Inter Milan for defender Benjamin Pavard.

This according to La Repubblica, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri would be ready to listen to bids for the Frenchman.

Inter Milan signed Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich two years ago. The World Cup winner arrived in the summer of 2023.

And when Pavard came to Inter, the Frenchman had a transformative impact.

The former Stuttgart defender seemed to be the missing piece in defense for Inter. He was one of the outstanding performers as Inter won the Serie A title in dominant fashion.

However, last season things were a bit different. Pavard dealt with a couple notable injuries over the course of the campaign. And furthermore, he made some high profile errors.

And in the meantime, this allowed German international defender Yann Bisseck to become ever more prominent in the Nerazzurri starting eleven.

La Repubblica report that Galatasaray sense an opportunity to sign Pavard.

The Istanbul giants have already missed out on a couple of targets from Inter this summer. They have gone after the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu and Yann Sommer, to no avail.

However, La Repubblica report, Galatasaray see Pavard as a big name addition who would fit into their plans.

Therefore, the newspaper anticipate, the Turkish champions are ready to make Inter an offer.

Then, it will remain to be seen whether the bid is sufficient to interest Inter. Or if it is another non-starter as with Galatasaray’s pursuit of Calhanoglu and Sommer.
