Napoli could reportedly rival Inter Milan to sign Ademola Lookman after selling Giacomo Raspadori to Atletico Madrid.
This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They report that the Partneopei may return to the negotiating table after the windfall of the big sale.
Inter Milan’s pursuit of Ademola Lookman has become the transfer soap opera of the summer.
The Nigerian international has done everything he can to push for the move. He has not been in training for over a week, having made a very public transfer request last weekend.
Meanwhile, Atalanta have rejected two bids from the Nerazzurri. Most recently an offer worth €45 million with add-ons.
Napoli Could Rival Inter For Lookman After Selling Raspadori To Atletico Madrid

So far, Lookman himself has made clear that he is only interested in joining Inter.
However, some other clubs have shown an interest in the 27-year-old’s signature.
Atletico Madrid have been one of these clubs. However, the Colchoneros moved on to signing Napoli forward Giacomo Raspadori.
However, having completed the sale of Raspadori, Napoli themselves could reignite their interest in Lookman’s signature.
The Partenopei had already shown interest earlier in the summer.
Furthermore, the Gazzetta note, Napoli are willing to offer Lookman a deal worth €5 million net per season. That would be more than Inter are offering on a contract.
At this point if Inter lose Lookman especially to Napoli it’ll be another level of embarrassment. Atalanta knows Lookman has no future at the player and so does the player so at this point it’s Inter’s move to make. For people who say this guy is old therefore he’ll be bad they need to look no further as to how BAD Inter’s attack was last season other than Lautaro and Thuram. So with a new coach that’ll bring some new tactics having a player like Lookman would definitely be a plus. Other positions such as defence don’t get to be magically fixed but you can’t say no to a player of Lookman quality. That’s why if Napoli are given the chance they will take it with no hesitation
please someone buy this guy
Cool, take him fast Napoli so we can actually move on to other targets
