After suffering a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Juventus on Saturday evening, Inter Milan have had their worst start to a season in 14 years.
This comes from today’s edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FcInterNews.
Last night’s defeat to Juventus compounded a poor start to the season.
Despite an impressive 5-0 rout of Torino in their opening game, Inter have struggled since.
Prior to the international break, the Nerazzurri suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Udinese at San Siro.
When Inter Milan Last Started A Serie A Season So Poorly After Juventus Defeat

The Gazzetta point out that the last time Inter lost 2 of their opening 3 games was in the 2011-12 season.
In that season, Gian Piero Gasperini started as manager before being replaced by Claudio Ranieri in September.
Inter finished in 6th place in the 2011-12 campaign.
Gazzetta note some similarities between that season and this one.
“The team was experiencing a transition between the Mourinho era and the need for renewal,” the newspaper writes.
and when we called it the start of Banter era, people where saying you need banter era players for that to happen. But history ALWAYS repeats itself, and in Inters case its always been horrible.
Mourinho is vacant, just sayin
the management never wanted a coach like mour or conte who can’t be deceived by them…they only want one who will always say yes sir to them
