Inter Milan and Real Madrid could go head-to-head for the signature of Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano next summer.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Frenchman has drawn inquiries from both clubs amid his contractual wobbles in Munich.
Despite his whopping €5.3m net per season salary, Dayot Upamecano has emerged as a concrete target for the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, he has entered the final year of his contract at Bayern Munich.
Despite his first-team status, the Frenchman has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Therefore, he could be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Inter Milan & Real Madrid to Battle for Dayot Upamecano

At 27, Upamecano is at his peak, with Vincent Kompany trusting him to lead Bayern’s defense.
However, the record-time Bundesliga champions have failed to convince the player to sign a new contract.
Meanwhile, Inter president Beppe Marotta has become famous for landing top players on Bosman deals.
As such, Inter will try to capture Upamecano’s services in case of a Bayern Munich farewell.
In addition to Upamecano, the Italian giants are keeping close tabs on Konstantinos Koulierakis and Joel Ordonez.
