Ange-Yoan Bonny will reportedly make his first Serie A start for Inter Milan in Saturday’s home clash against newly promoted Cremonese.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Frenchman is Cristian Chivu’s go-to option to replace Marcus Thuram.
Despite easing past Slavia Prague in the Champions League, Inter paid a hefty price.
Indeed, Marcus Thuram suffered a thigh injury in Tuesday’s 3-0 romping of the Czech champions.
Therefore, he will not be in contention for the team this weekend.

With Thuram out of the picture, Chivu has a decision to make.
It’s a near-certainty that Lautaro Martinez will lead the line against Cremonese.
Indeed, El Toro has hit a purple patch, netting three goals in his last two appearances in all competitions.
However, Chivu has to decide who will partner up with the Argentine in attack.
Bonny has yet to start a competitive game for the Nerazzurri this season, falling behind Francesco Pio Esposito in the pecking order.
Yet, the 21-year-old seems to have finally convinced Chivu.
