my thoughts exactly. zielinski has never been given 3-4matches in a row to see what he’s made off.. he is always made to come on abruptly and expected to play like a champ without continuity. that being said, am so much more happy without bench this season than in the last 3!
Have we watched the same game? Zielinski when given a chance was average at best, but 80% of games was subpar. Big fitness problems also contributed to that.

Sommer solid, but unless the management has completely decided to find new gk Martinez should be given more minutes to prove if he has what it takes to be starter. De Vrij not the best showing, Frattesi worst on our side, Zielinski after them, one good pass forward to Lautaro and that’s about it, i think. Last year when i said november Napoli will win the scudetto also some tought im crazy. Thing is i am realistic in a given time. This year we play amazing, but we still didnt have many injuries, tired legs, poor form, experienced coach etc. We lost already against a poor Udinese and Juventus. Besides Juventus and Roma there havent been tough opponents to judge if we really can win the league. To anounce us as favourites after 7 games where the whole squad is transitioning from Inzaghis Inter is delusional. So as i said, we will see in spring, if we really have what it takes. CL games till now are also no judgement, the last 4 games we can judge really Chivu and the squad, not against destroying USG, Ajax and Sparta.

Sucic might surpass Zielinski in the future, but as of now, there’s simply not enough games from Sucic at this level to make that claim. Also, Zielinski is 31, that’s not old by any metric.
You seem to think that any player a day older than 29 years is a geriatric who should retire.
Based on what was shown in Inter shirt Sucic is better than Zielinski. Since he came from Napoli almost every game was subpar, maybe 2 or 3 games average showing, rest utter crap.
And you came to that conclusion by watching Sucic play for 379 minutes out of a possible 810 minutes this season….
The guy has played a total of 3 full games and you’ve already determined that he’s better than one of the best midfielders in Serie A for the past 5+ years.
