Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu produced another sumptuous performance as the Nerazzurri put Lazio to the sword yesterday.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, unlike his midfield partners, the Turkish playmaker was ‘extraordinary.’

Despite failing to add to his five-goal tally in Serie A, Calhanoglu played a prominent role in Inter’s comfortable 2-0 win.

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about Petar Sucic and Nicolo Barella.

Indeed, they both struggled with composure on and off the ball, with the former picking up a reckless yellow card in the first half.

As for Hakan Calhanoglu, he was outstanding, orchestrating the play with his trademark passing and exceptional vision.

Though a minor calf injury troubled the 31-year-old, he defied pain to stay on the pitch for over 80 minutes.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Bastoni was at his best following several unconvincing performances.

Indeed, the Italian center-back robbed Gustav Isaksen of possession in the build-up to Lautaro Martinez’ opening goal.

Then, Federico Dimarco made another assist, setting Ange-Yoan Bonny up on a platter for Inter’s second.
