According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, he has yet to decide whether to start Petar Sucic or Piotr Zielinski.

With Henrikh Mkhitaryan ruled out with a thigh injury, there’s an open slot in the middle of the park.

Indeed, Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella have guaranteed starting berths.

However, it’s up to Chivu to choose one between Sucic and Zielinski.

Though Zielinski had emerged as the likeliest option, the 31-year-old returned from the international break bruised.

Therefore, the Croatian youngster could get the nod instead.

Meanwhile, Francesco Acerbi and Yann Bisseck are battling it out for the remaining starting berth in defense.

Alessandro Bastoni and Manuel Akanji have cemented their spots in the starting XI.

Despite Acerbi’s impressive performance against Lazio, Bisseck looks more likely to join Bastoni and Akanji at the back.
