Yann Bisseck has reiterated his loyalty to Inter Milan after returning to Cristian Chivu’s good graces in recent weeks.
During his interview with Bild via FCInterNews, the 24-year-old played down growing exit rumors.
It’s been a challenging start to the season for the former Aarhus defender.
Indeed, new manager Cristian Chivu handed Bisseck his first Serie A start in a 2-1 home loss to Udinese in late August.
However, the German center-back has since fallen out of favor, spending the next six league matches on the bench.
As expected, the media started making fake news regarding Bisseck’s future, linking him to a potential winter departure.
Meanwhile, Chivu reinstated Yann Bisseck on the stroke of the international break.
Following back-to-back league starts against Fiorentina and Hellas Verona, he once again dropped to the bench against Lazio.
Yet, the versatile defender appears to be on the verge of overtaking Francesco Acerbi in the pecking order.
Yann Bisseck Reiterates His Happiness at Inter Milan

Bisseck’s bit-part role at the start of the season affected his international status.
Indeed, Julian Nagelsmann left him out of his German squad in October and November.
However, the Nerazzurri star seems determined to return to the national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“Through a phone call shortly before his appointment in September, Julian Nagelsmann emphasized how important it is for him to play regularly at the club,” Bisseck said.
“I am therefore aware that I have only returned to playing regularly since autumn.
“I will continue to do everything in my power and remain patient to be available for the international matches in March next year.
“Participating in the World Cup remains my biggest goal.
“It would be an incredible dream and has given me a lot of strength and motivation over the past few months.”
Then, he addressed his current status at San Siro.
“It has been a very difficult period for me after the injury in the Champions League final,” Bisseck added.
“But I received excellent medical care, stayed patient, and, above all, tried to keep myself available through training.
“I knew my opportunities would come, and recently I have managed to seize them successfully.
“I was aware of some transfer rumors circulating when I wasn’t playing regularly.
“However, right now, I’m trying to ignore everything and focus entirely on our goals and ambitions at Inter.
“I’m very happy to be an important part of this strong team once again.”
