Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu could return to the starting lineup when his side takes on Atalanta on Sunday.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Turkish midfielder is likely to regain his place in the middle of the park this weekend.

Hakan Calhanoglu suffered a minor muscle injury during Inter’s controversial defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League.

Therefore, he missed the team’s trip to Stadio Luigi Ferraris to meet Genoa in Serie A last time out.

However, he was part of Cristian Chivu’s traveling squad that faltered in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Despite landing in Riyadh with the team, Calhanoglu didn’t feature in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final tie against Bologna.
