Serie A leaders Inter Milan are reportedly weighing up a January swoop for in-demand Atalanta loanee Marco Palestra.

According to Il Giorno via FCInter1908, the San Siro giants are determined to beat stiff competition for the Italian’s signature.

Inter Milan could part ways with long-serving stalwart Denzel Dumfries at the end of the season.

Furthermore, the Dutchman is currently in the pits with an ankle injury and is expected to return to action in March.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu’s men are desperate to sign a suitable replacement for the former PSV Eindhoven star.
