Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries is facing an uncertain future at San Siro, with the club actively pursuing his replacement.

According to FCInter1908, this could be the Dutchman’s final season in Serie A.

Denzel Dumfries is currently in the pits after undergoing ankle surgery at the beginning of December.

Furthermore, he may not return to action until March, leaving a huge gap on the right wing.

Dumfries’ contract runs out in 2027.

However, there’s a release clause, which will allow the former PSV Eindhoven star to leave the club for just €25 million in the summer.

Moreover, Dumfries has recently severed ties with super-agent Jorge Mendes, casting further doubt on his career at San Siro.

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu’s men have identified several potential replacements, including Marco Palestra.

Yet, the Italian youngster commands a substantial €40 million price tag, making it difficult for Inter to sign him this winter.
