Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez delivered a match-winning performance in Sunday night’s Serie A clash against Atalanta.

According to the Italian media via L’Interista, El Toro stole the spotlight at the Gewiss Stadium on his way to reaching a huge career milestone.

Cristian Chivu’s side returned to winning ways following an underwhelming Supercoppa Italiana defeat to Bologna.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri squeaked past La Dea yesterday, claiming a narrow 1-0 triumph, courtesy of the Argentine’s second-half winner.

Therefore, Lautaro Martinez has now scored in four consecutive Serie A games for the first time since 2021.

Lautaro’s winner marked his 166th goal for the club, moving him to fourth in Inter’s all-time scoring list.

Furthermore, it was nothing less than what he deserved for a superb overall performance in Bergamo.
