According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Frenchman’s recovery from a minor knee problem could take longer than expected.

Cristian Chivu received a huge fitness boost yesterday as Francesco Acerbi resumed full training.

Indeed, the Italian veteran has put his muscle injury behind him and will be in contention for the squad this weekend.

Furthermore, Chivu is even considering fielding the 37-year-old from the first minute at the expense of Yann Bisseck.
