Inter Milan and Federico Dimarco are moving steadily toward a contract renewal, with only final details left to be defined before a new agreement is signed.

As highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, Dimarco’s desire is clear.

He wants to remain at the club he has supported since childhood and where he rose through the youth ranks before establishing himself as one of the most decisive wide players in Europe.

For the Italian, staying is described as a well-considered career choice rather than a sentimental gesture.

Inter, for their part, are equally enthusiastic.

The club’s hierarchy and head coach Cristian Chivu view Dimarco as indispensable.

Especially after a season in which his performances have reached new heights in both quality and consistency.

His current contract runs until June 2027, but that date is increasingly seen as a formality to be updated.

Inter are keen to avoid entering the final stretch of the deal without clarity and plan to open in-depth talks before the end of the campaign.

At present, Dimarco earns around €4 million net per season.

A renewal would likely include a natural salary increase and a longer duration.

Indeed, potentially extending the deal by a further three years and pushing the expiry toward 2030.

The move would not only secure one of Inter’s most influential players on the pitch.

However, it will also symbolically tie a lifelong Nerazzurro even more closely to the club’s future project.
