Eternal Serie A rivals Inter Milan and Juventus will renew hostilities in the iconic Derby d’Italia this weekend.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Juventus’ lavish spending over the past five years has failed to bring success.
Sitting eight points clear of second-placed AC Milan, Inter will take the field in high spirits.
However, after going winless in every high-profile league clash this season, the Nerazzurri cannot afford to take anything for granted.
However, with momentum firmly on their side, Inter appear to be well-positioned to halt that trend on Saturday.
Inter Milan Trump Juventus Despite Massive Spending Gap in Serie A

According to Corriere’s report, Juventus have shelled out around €328 million more than Inter in the last five years.
Furthermore, the Turin giants have accumulated a deficit of €256 million from several managerial changes and poor investments.
On the other hand, Inter can show a positive balance of €72 million, having relied on high-profile free transfers.
More importantly, Beppe Marotta’s clever signings have helped Inter amass 60 more points than Juventus in the league during that stretch.
So glad inter recruited Marotta, Like Inter7 said, good organisation starting from the top has had a great impact on inter. Sometimes I wonder though, how much better inter could still be if there was more investment. Hopefully next summer we see management invest appropriately into the squad to replace older departing players. I think about 5 signings are needed (including Stankovic/Akanji) depending on amount of outgoings.

Don’t have much to say besides how glad I am that inter recruited Marotta. Like Inter7 said, good organisation starting from the top has had a great impact on inter

kkkkk
Good organization comes from the top. We are lucky to have Marotta stirring the ship who looks determined to stay for a long time.
