Nico Paz has delivered a clear and direct message to Inter Milan, there has been no contact, he is fully committed to Como, and he is refusing to entertain any discussion about his future while the season remains live.
The Argentina playmaker spoke to Sport Mediaset, with quotes via FCInterNews.
It was a wide-ranging interview that covered his development, his relationship with Cesc Fabregas and the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Inter.
On the Inter links specifically, Paz was unambiguous.
“No concrete contacts with Inter? No, there has been nothing.”
On Real Madrid’s buy-back clause, which the Spanish club are widely expected to trigger this summer, he was equally evasive.
“I do not want to think about these things. I am 100% focused here at Como and want to give everything on the pitch here. Then if there is the possibility in the future, we will see.”

His gratitude toward head coach Fabregas was genuine and heartfelt.
“Fabregas has been the most important factor. He has great faith in us, he is a young coach, a person who lives for football, works hard and studies hard. And he allows me to play the way I want to play. That is fundamental.”
On his own growth, Paz reflected with the perspective of someone who has matured rapidly.
“I arrived here from Real Madrid Castilla without having ever played for a first team. Last season was my first in Serie A and now I feel much more mature and ready to play at these levels.”
On Como’s season overall, he was equally proud.
“We are having a good season, honestly we did not expect it to be this beautiful. But the incredible work we have done is rewarding us and I think we deserve it.”
And on the prospect of a Coppa Italia final, needing to overturn a first leg defeat to Inter?
“It would be wonderful. We must do everything we can, we will give everything. We are ready and want to play in the best way possible.”
looking at oaktree’s politics (young and cheap players) , finances (+40M) , our futur sales (around 140M) and transfer rumors i personnally think mine’s better and way more realistic :
GK : vicario – f.stankovic – di gennaro
CB : akanji- muharemovic- solet – d.tonoli
RB/RWB : bisseck – hector fort
LB/LWB : dimarco – O.Mingueza
CDM : Calhanoglu (last year) – A.Stankovic
CM : Barella -Sucic – Zielinski – Manu Koné
LW : Thuram – Alajbegovic
RW : M.Diaby – I.Kamate
ST : Lautaro – Pio Esposito
departures = sommer , bastoni (60+H.fort) , dumfries, acerbi, de vrij, c.augusto, mkhitaryan, y.bonny, asllani, pavard, frattesi, s.esposito, j.martinez
loan = a.diouf
Palestra , Nico Paz , Goretzka, Gila , all these guys are way too expensive in salary for us or there’s too many competitive clubs richer than us
Respect your choices, i wouldn’t pick some of them, but it’s almost sure that Thuram will be sold, question is how much can we get for him, 70 mil is currently unobtainable, 60-65 is more realistic price. As for Basto, don’t believe he’ll leave, all these news are already before seen cheap tricks by FC Ueafalona, and probably media outlets who are paid by Juve and Milan
i wouldn’t pick some of them either but oaktree are willing to add 40M only and i doubt our players are going to be sold very high , i hope thuram will be sold too but since the national friendlies thuram played better and inter are thinking about playing him on the wing instead where he’s used to play earlier in his career
