Not true, we know a player can’t play with high intensity 50 games in a season, Lautaro, Dima, Barella… all had fall in form sometimes, but even when they played bad they overrun the pitch. They play for the shirt they wear, not Marcus. He uses his great speed maybe once or twice in game, if even that. Hell, most of his goals are tap ins, headers or something like that. He is the same kind of player as Leao is, great talent, speed, possibly one of the best 1v1 play in their teams, but they only showed it at maybe 5 out of 50 games per season. Considering we have a world class striker in Lautaro, and 2 upcoming young strikers who already showed they can play for almost any team fighting in Europe competitions, Thuram is acceptable sacrifice to get funds to spend in summer.
