Inter Milan midfielder Issiaka Kamate is close to joining Espanyol, with negotiations advanced for a deal worth around €3 million.

According to FutbolFantasy via Tomy Gavaldá, the proposed fee would secure 50% of Kamate’s rights. The arrangement would leave Inter with a significant interest in the player’s future appreciation.

Kamate is a left-footed and versatile player who can operate as an interior midfielder, particularly in wide positions on the right. He stood out for Inter U23 last season and made his first-team debut under Cristian Chivu in the Coppa Italia, providing an assist.

His name had previously been linked with Granada and Palermo, although neither move materialised.

Deal Structure

The reported structure would see Espanyol acquire 50% of Kamate’s rights for around €3 million, while Inter retain an interest in his future value.

Espanyol have accelerated their pursuit and are close to completing the signing of the 22-year-old, who is viewed as a player with room for growth.
