we need a player like giovinco because we need speed. i hope that we will qualify to CL.
he can play in 4-3-3 formation on left.
another option for chicarito
yeah 18 is good offer but inter want him on loan.and city want cash now…best way is : Guarin+5milioon euro(3+1+1 as a gift)
Do you really think that city will agree with Guarin? LoL
City bought him for 22 mil, after a bad season 18 Million is not a bad offer.
I heard a different rumour saying we offered Handanovic
what a joke LOL
What is our management aiming at with these loan+option to buy contracts? We can’t afford a 5 million player without complications and we are planing contracts with buy clauses like 10 and 18 million? Where is the money going to come from next year?
It is simple. By getting good players, even on a loan base, you make the team more competitive, more attractive to watch, you sell more merchandise, jerseys, sponshoship deals, stadium tickets, hopefully qualify for Champions league, and get a better position in the Serie A (which should give you more money). So, hopefully the following year you can afford the loan player, or replace him with somebody cheaper (remember that young good players want to go to exciting and competitive teams), maybe you can get the loan player with a discount because the owner team realize they don’t need him, and he wants to stay with you. Also, you need to think about the influence a good player can make on the team, let’s imagine we could get Messy on a loan for a full year, think about how much he could teach our youngsters during that year. Finally, remember it is an option to buy, it is not an obligation.
Well said HP 🙂
Jovetič is a good player, don’t get me wrong, but he is not a player that will make us go to CL with us loaning him. And by adding Jovetič(not so popular in BPL, not amongst top nationalities), we will suddenly sell so much more merchandise that it will make a difference? Vidič is the kind of player you describe, not Jovetič. Jovetič won’t have that much influence on the team as you predic, if he arrives. And Jovetič training our youngsters, while he is almost still a youngster? And there is almost the opposite of what you say with “they can see that they don’t need him”. They can also see that he is performing good, and try to raise his price(for example, Rolando).
You are wrong. Rolando redemption price was set last year at 5 mil, but now we only want to pay 3.5 mil
That’s after they tried to get us to pay more than 5 millions bro 😉
Other sources claim inter offered 22mil, but whatever.
I dont think he will come to inter, city wants to keep him.
That’s that then
