Javier Zanetti’s shirt with the number 4 won’t be used by any other player. Just like Facchetti’s #3, Zanetti’s shirt number #4 will be retired. This was one of the things declared by the president Erick Thohir this morning. Zanetti has also been offered a two year contract as vice-president.

I don’t know much about this things, but two years sounds a little short for somebody like him. I guess that gives room for salary rises in the future. But, I would have expected something like 5 years.
