
Alfredo Pedulla writes from his homepage today about a little back-story about Roma’s previous plans for Brazilian full-back Dodo, who is expected to sign for Inter tomorrow. According to Pedulla, Roma wanted to use Dodo as a part of the payment in order to sign Inter’s Uruguayan full-back Alvaro Pereira, currently on loan at Sao Paolo in Brazil.

just a few weeks ago, you could have seen that Pereira is a decent full-back. 3-5-something formation with wingbacks is simply not for him, because he can’t support the attacks properly – as for Jonathan and Nagatomo, they can’t defend at all, so either switch to 4-man defense, or buy 2 proper wingbacks
