Gazzetta della Sport writes today that Inter are once again interested in bringing home former Nerazzurri-primavera player Mattia Destro, from Roma. A transfer would be possible, but the chances are very limited with competition from other top-clubs as well as the asking-price from Roma’s Walter Sabatini: 25 million euros.

It hurts to pay back twice or three times the price a player you sold back then, but it’s an investment: Destro-Icardi could Inter’s attack for the next 10 years. In defense and midfiled Inter has a number of players to offload (Kuzmanovic, Silvestre, Campagnaro, probably Guarin or Alvarez though I like both), so Inter should use this money to pay Destro’s transfer fee or exchange one of them to lower that fee. The only problem is his wage I think.
