Icardi scored yes, but what a lazy player he is. The guy doesn’t move or isn’t hungry to get the ball. It seems we play 10 vs 11. For instance, what i like about botta is his constant movement in the pitch, icardi on the other hand doesn’t do that. I think if osvaldo started instead of him we would have been in front 2 or 3 goals.
I agree that Icardi could move more, but they are 2 different kind of players. Icardi is more of a targetman, a poacher, that will go for headers and finishing, while Botta is more of a second striker, making the runs, trying to dribble past defense and lead to a goal.
thats the thing i hate about targetmen. They are only good at headers. There are only several players that are good at playing center forward role. If we had another striker that can dribble and has vision that would be great.
I’m not able to watch this game, but I’ve never found Icardi to be a ‘lazy’ player…now Balotelli, that’s a lazy selfish player…but not Icardi, not yet anyway.
