Inter have always liked Ezequiel Lavezzi. The Nerazzurri is back to make another attempt to sign the Argentinian attacker. This according to La Gazzetta dello Sport today. However, the road is anything but downhill. To grab the former Napoli-player, Inter must make necessary sacrifices, primarily the sales of Fredy Guarin and Ricky Alvarez. Only then the Nerazzurri have the funds necessary to convince Paris Saint-Germain to let go of the Argentinian.
The Parisian club has excellent relations with Inter, but does not intend to make concessions: they demand 15 million euro, and the salary of Lavezzi is 4.5 million euros per season. As of today, it is not a secret, Inter does not have the necessary financial status to fund such a transfer. It could only with two heavy sales. Despite the denials, there is continued contact with Zenit for Fredy Guarin and Inter are waiting for a possible proposal for Alvarez, possibly from Atletico Madrid.
The DS Piero Ausilio knows that the money from the two sales can not be all reinvested, but would also serve as a return of past expenses, for such as Hernanes. It should also work as funds to pay the buy-out clause for the loaned players in 2015. The salary of “Pocho?”. Inter’s idea is 3.5 million euros including bonuses. It is clear that Lavezzi should have to reduce his demands on salary.
The striker, on the other hand, is not having a bad time in Paris, but would like to return to Italy. And for Walter Mazzarri, with Lavezzi he would be able to replicate the 3-4-2-1 seen during his time in Napoli.

Insigne
sounds expensive…. would rather try for Cerci / Shaqiri … but I think we will sign Lavezzi in the end.
oh god please no, i never liked this guy…. our money would be much better spent elsewhere
Lavezzi would be a good player for Inter, same as Destro. Aside from those two we also have two hot prospects in the attacking line of the primavera: Puscas & Bonazzoli. I think they should be given chances as well. So buying a striker would not be a high priority at the moment. An attacking midfielder (e.g. Firmino) and a right back (e.g. Santon or Darmian) should be priorities in my opinion.
Wake up!this is not football manager!do we have better players than lavezzi?botta is younger so what?is he better?don’t think so.
GUYS: Can I ask how old were Milito and Palacio were, when they joined Inter?? 30!
If we get to sign unhappy Lavezzi cheap or on loan, that’s magical. We can destroy anyone in Serie A.
Agree, bro
firmino is ideal for us
not my ideal expectation, but if he’s cheap enough, would really happy to see him as our player.
and please relax, if he’s expensive, we surely wont buy him.
and 15 millions is considered expensive for us nowadays, LOL
Our club is poor lol
no for lavezzi . he is old and expensive for his age.
instead, we can get firmino he is younger and can even develop his abilities .
Thats what i said we dont need him
sale guarin save alvarez and buy one of lavezzi cerci or firmino
He has never been a prolific goal scorer. Even though he is a good player, I don’t like him. Also, I agree that he is on the old side. For a player like him, whose main characteristics is his speed, at 30 his best years are gone now. I would not sign him for more than $15, and $3 MM on wages, and I would sign it just just because he is a marketable player that can sell jerseys.
90% Agreed, 10% is because im not sure if he’s that marketable (jersey seller).
He would be a good addition but I doubt we can make it happen. I’d be ok seeing what Ricky can do this year in that position, though it’d be better if we could sell him
He is 30 he is old
Lol Palacio is 33yd so? I think till the end of transfer window, Rolando & Lavezzi will be ours ..
PLACIO IS ALREADY HERE…SINCE WE ARE GOING YOUNG WHY CAN’T WE GET FIRMINO OR CERCI… THEY ARE MORE PROLIFIC GOAL SCORES
that escalated quickly
