According to calciomercto.com, Inter are closely monitoring the situation of Stephan Lichtsteiner. The current Juventus right wing back is yet to reach an agreement with the club over a new contract, and is demanding about €3m per year. Inter would be planning to use the same formula as Vidic, €2.8m plus bonuses. Lichtsteiner’s contract expires this June, and is the ideal player for Mazzarri. Although Inter already have two good right wing backs in Nagatomo and Jonathan, Lichtsteiner would bring great quality to the right flank.

I like that the management is thinking about getting a right wing. Lichsteiner is good, but his age concerns me. Then again if it’s a free transfer we could take him for a season or two.

Jonathan and Nagatomo are not bad. Nagatomo has amazing pace and always gives his all. Lichsteiner would be a great step up in quality though.

Lichtsteiner is way better than both Nagatomo and Jonathan, the only problem is his age, IF we reach an agreement with him, which also seems highly unlikely to me.
