According to the Turin based daily newspaper TuttoSport the disconnect between Walter Mazzarri and the fans seems irreparable. For this reason it’s now appropriate to consider who will take over on the Inter bench after the ex Napoli tactician departs. The two names mentioned elsewhere are Leonardo and Primavera boss Stefano Vecchi but there are many other candidates. Erick Thohir could go for the idea that a coach without preconditioned views of the club and Italian football could offer the best solution. It is well known that Thohir greatly admires the work of Frank de Boer at Ajax but the ex Barcelona man shows little interest of coaching in Serie A. So continuing the theme of coaches who work with players to improve what they have Roberto Martinez of Everton is another potential target. Having won the FA Cup with Wigan and done such impressive work during his first twelve months on Merseyside.
Within the club itself there is a huge admiration for Sinisa Mihajlovic’s work at Sampdoria. Championed even by Roberto Mancini and loved by the fans. There was even chatter a while back about Juventus being interested in the Serbian coach. It is thought by many that a great season with Sampdoria will land him the Inter job come the summer. This would be fitting for an ex Nerazzurri player and assistant manager.

Oh my god, if mihailovic gets the Coaching job we Will begin at year -10 so if Thohir wants to get back to the top with Inter he should really not even consider him…..i think Martinez or Pocchettino or my favorite Bielsa should be the ones Inter should have as their new coach
Zlatan will have Spalletti bring Inter back to the top.
I would love to see us go after Jorge Jesus from Benfica who’s contract is up at the end of this season. He is used to working with young talent and getting the best out of new players every year, and has always done well both domestically and in Europe. Benfica has been to back to back cup finals in EL. He plays an exciting 4-1-3-2 formation.
The only interesting name for me is roberto mancini .
He has the exprience we need and he know inter and serie A well .
I guess he is the best option .
Nope, He is not the best choice, I dont think so
AVB’s contract will end next march i believe. He will be availble next season if he doesnt extend his contract. I still nelieve with his magic touch when coaching porto.
Sinisa welcome
Maybe Thohir should consider Juergen Klopp. He’s good at creating such a superb squad with just a few transfer budget.
If it would be real, Of course! I also vote for him
If it’s true, the list looks very short and poor for me. I want to believe, that name Inter and Thohir project still have to be attractive for most of the coaches. For me only one interesting name is Frank De Boer, because he’s abilities for work and develop young players and Ajax playing philosophy. Martinez is unproven, there’s big difference of coaching small clubs and grand like Inter, Mazzarri is the best example. Same for Mihailovic with half good season in Sampdoria. I really hope that our management will find better solutions when the time to say goodbye to Mazzarri comes.
I’m sorry to disappoint you but Inter at the moment isn’t “bigger” than Everton .. we are playing bad football if thats even the name of what we’re playing.. Martinez took a Bottom half team in Everton full of old players revolutionized it bought young players used them and developed them into very good players and is competing for the 5th and 6th places in the EPL which is the most competitive league ATM .. and if we happen to come across his Everton we’re most probably getting our asses kicked
You can say something like that for Mazzarri in Napoli, but look what happened! I’m not sure that Martinez is ready and can handle the pressure in grand like Inter, but that’s my opinion. Doesn’t have to mention huge difference between football in Premier League and Serie A. And no, Everton isn’t on the same level with Inter and never will be, it’s big difference to have Inter in your CV. Thohir have long time project and shows patience which have to be very important for every serious coach.
I’m not talking about the past.. we are a big club historically .. but unfortunately our results don’t show it.. and being really honest and look at our squad I see a great midfield but no wingers … no mazzarri didn’t improve any young player while at napoli .. he didn’t trust the , He’d have Insigne benched while lavezzi or Hamsik were tired.. and the main difference between WM and martinez is that martinez is tactically sound coach with an eye for atacking football just watch everton play.. even if not everton you could see him at Wigan although not having a good squad he’d still manage to form nice tactics even his 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formations are WAY better than Mazarri .. But lets all hope for the best for our club
I’m not comparing Mazzarri and Martinez, they have their differences like any two coaches, all i wanna say is that for me there’s big chance to repeat the same what happened with Mazzarri. My problem with Martinez is that he relegated with Wigan and several years avoiding that in last round with a lot of luck and i seriously prefer De Boer.
I think the team got relegated cause it didn’t have the quality stay up .. why do I think so? cause the one time they gave him a nice squad he’s had success .. De Boer is a good option too but he’s used to having the best team in his championship .. let’s hope that WM goes away first 😀
Of course De Boer is my favorite too buddy but Martinez is almost at De Boer’s level too
Partly agree, But you seem a little unfair about Martinez, If he comes to Inter the day would be our jubilation
Hmmm Roberto Martinez dont sounds too bad! He would be great in Inter!
Hope thats true but at the end it is Tuttosport right
