Roberto Mancini was present at the event where the new Gazzetta Dello Sport newspaper layout was celebrated. The new Inter coach talked about his first memories from the Gazzetta:

“I remember in September 1981 when I made my debut in the serie A, I think that was the first time I appeared in the Gazzetta.”

Mancini then continued by talking about the coming games against Roma and Milan:

“A warm comeback? I’d say is a casualty. No match would be easy in the Serie A but I have to say that beginning with Milan and Roma is fascinating and hard.”

Just as the challenge to bring Inter back to the top is fascinating and hard:

“If I’ve worked on the tactics or the mentality? I work with both, but I’ll need time since the moment for Italian is historically hard, even though Italian football is important and can come back. The first thing I’ve tried to work with, more than tactics is the enthusiasm. When we’ll see a winning Inter? We haven’t set any date for the targets, but we need to be quick with our improvements.”
