Being realistic about Inter’s capability to make the right moves

If Inter could afford it/loan him Shaqiri would be a wicked addition to the squad too. He’d replace Palacio in this line up. Firminio’s value is skyrocketing now after his continued performances with hoffenheim and his brazil callus-he’s no longer a viable option. we missed the boat there. i’d recommend we also take a look at Shakhtar’s brazilian stars-with the ongoing conflict some may want to leave. and there’s no doubt some of them are pretty damn good 🙂

I believe most of us understand that managing club like Inter has nothing to do with playing games like FIFA. Everybody knows that trough winter transfer window is not the best time to make big changes. I think all we know that Inter can’t afford big money for transfers. In my opinion we have good basis with players like Handa, JJ, Medel, Kova, Hernanes, Icardi and all we have to do is to add only few quality players who can make the difference or some young bright talents. I believe that it’s very hard trough winter to find quality players. But first let see what we’ve got now:
Goalkeepers: Handanovic, Carrizo, Berni ; Defenders: Juan, Ranocchia, Vidic, Andreolli, Campagnaro, Mbaye, Jonathan, D’Ambrosio, Nagatomo, Dodo ; Midfielders: Medel, M’Vila, Khrin, Kuzmanovic, Obi, Guarin, Kovacic, Hernanes ; Forwards: Icardi, Osvaldo, Palacio, Puskas, Bonazzoli.
It’s ridiculous to talk about new goalkeeper,unless we’ve got huge offer for Handanovic, but in that case we have Bardi.
Central defenders, we have five plus Mbaye who can play if it’s needed. I don’t think that now we need new one, except we don’t have to get some bright talent for free. Will be very good to get some money for Campagnaro, cos his contact expires after 6 months, he’s on age and is deep sub. In my opinion will be good for continues development Mbaye to be loaned somewhere where he’ll play regularly.
Fullbacks D’Ambrosio, Nagatomo, Jonathan and even Mbaye on the right side, I don’t think that we need need new one right now. If we can cash on Jonathan will be great, but now its not the right time, cos most of time he’s injured. On the left Dodo, Nagatomo and Juan if it’s needed, I don’t think that we need new one right now.
Defensive midfielders Medel, M’Vila and Khrin plus Kuzmanovic when is needed and I don’t think that we need new one.
Inside midfielders Kuzmanovic, Obi, Guarin, Kovacic, Hernanes. I believe that we can’t rely only on Kovacic and Hernanes for creativity and will be great if we can get someone like Firmino. If we can sell Guarin for good amount and add a few millios to get Firmino, but it will be almost impossible to handle the competition.
Mancini wants to play with wingers and in that case we must to get at least one. Here my choice is easy Konoplyanka. He’s wouldn’t be expensive, cos his contact expires after 6 months. He’s young, have speed, technique, good shot from distance and good cross, can play on both wings and even behind the strikers.
With Icardi, Osvaldo, Palacio, Puskas and Bonazzoli I don’t think that we need new striker now.
Sell ( icardi 35 million, kovacic 50 million, juan jesus 25 million) and buy cerci 16 million, dragovic 10 million, lucas silva 15 million, mohammed salah 10 million, podolski 5 million, kanoplynka 10 million, biabiany 6 million and gignac for 6 million. Also , returning alvarez, crisetig and botta

I think it is very important to have a flexible squad that us able to play with more than a formation, and we should pick players accordingly.
Inter should buy wingers, a right back and another left back because you cannot depend on such a young player like Dodo to do the job all season long.
If Inter could snatch Darmian and Baines as left and right backs, and maybe then also Salah Konoplayanka (because they are the most affordable) this would be a perfect mercato.

I’d recommend Inter to sign Shaqiri and sign a pre contract for Konoplyanka and Schär. Try to sign Bakkali, if hes available for cheap. Shaqiri can play as RWB (just like United’s Valancia) and Bakkali as for depth,Next window we can let Campagnaro go and Schär come in his place and Alvarez is likely to go and would be replaced by Konoplyanka.

If Inter is planning to convert formation into a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 it is crucial to acquire at least two wingers with Konoplyanka, Shaqiri and Cerci being the most quality choices and Ayew, Thauvin and Biabiany being the less expensive, second tier targets. However, if we are going to stick with 4-3-1-2 it is mandatory to sign another quality midfielder cuz if we use Guarin, Hernanes and Kovacic in the first squad our impact subs will be Kuzmanovic and Obi and that is not good enough. Palacio is also losing his touch and should be replaced soon with Andrej Kramaric probably being the best man for the job. If we have to sell something it should probably be Icardi in January and Handanovic in the summer when Bardi can return to Inter.

A year or two later and Handanovic will barely be worth 50% of what he’s worth now and while I agree that Bardi is not fully ready yet he is our best shot. You can’t expect Bardi to stay happy while being loaned out every season, he is a quality keeper.

I doubt anyone would materialize icardi this january, but handa is a possibility to replace mignolet who face massive criticism lately. Lets say we gain some capital from handa, then bardi is going to be his successor. Risky, but i think it’s time to trust bardi. However, i will consider all offers come, except for jesus and kova. But we should able to sell campagnaro kuz khrin and jonathan. At least loan with obligation to redeem, cause we need to make space for new players.

– Buy Cerci, 13m is possible if the relations of cerci with atl deteriorating. Even loan with obligation rrdemption is possible if things deteriorating and atl. Need to send cerci away.
– Or buy shaqiri: his price is much lower now, same as cerci. And i heard bayern will accept formula 2m loan with obligation to redemp the rest (12-14m). We can use alvarez money to redeem. But shaqiri’s competition is fierce from juve, roma, napoli, liverpool, atl. Madrid to replace cerci. But we have to get at least one of them (cerci more realistic for competition reason).
– buy/loan giovinco. His contract end next summer should be available for cheap. He’s forward but doing very good as left winger with parma.
– loan either salah or campbell. If cerci failed then take campbell, if shaqiri failed then take salah.

As for konoplyanka i’d go for free in june. In january transfer you need quick impacts fron player who know serie a. I’d also try for ayew, gignac, kramaric and litchsteiner for free. It depends on january market.

The fullback position (right) can be sorted in the summer. Guarin (although i really like him) must go for a better fitting cerci. Money must be spent on konoplyanka.
I don’t think we’re in position to sale. The squad is already thin considering the competitions we’re in and potential injury crisis scenario. Lack of possible interested parties doesn’t help either.
But, if we desperately needs to cash in players, I would recommend Jonathan, Campagnaro (enough backups for both pos), and Guaro (Kuz can fills his boot, more consistent).
I expected only 1 or 2 transfers-in for the attacking wing pos, Konoplyanka is the most doable. Or maybe recall Ricky or Pereira, which is less likely.
Not, so much change, I know. We’re not having the luxury after changing head coach.

lol. palacio. he’s out. how much longer Inter will continue to play him where he always goes deep and stay deep? i give Osvaldo his place! and Icardi is the best strikers around! are you forgetting if not for him, Inter will be languish at the bottom even when ball supplies are rare. now i blame that on squarely on “the creative players” and one more thing, D’ambrosio deserve more playing time. He done well so far for Inter and he scores even when he plays just few times this season thanks to that rubbish WM.
