Inter beat Dnipro 2-1 and this comes after some amazing saves by Samir Handanovic.
“Batmanovic” as the is known by the fans was interviewed by Mediaset Premium after the game and had the following things to say:
“Today was a very tough victory, we need to admit that we played poorly in the beginning and that we started without the right spirit. Then we showed the right mentality and we need to take that with us from this game. We are making a lot of simple mistakes, the tactics or formation don’t play a part in that because it’s mostly a psychological problem. The six penalty saves in a row? Making saves is my job. There are difficult saves, and shit saves, I try to save as much as possible. Renewal? We will see, my agent will think about it.”
Strong, but true words from our stalwart. This squad needs to rally around him and focus.

he should be Inter captain and not Rano
is being a beast also in your job description
Seriously he’s the only player who can be considered world class in the current Inter.
‘the tactics or formation don’t play a part in that because it’s mostly a psychological problem.’ still some people try to blame Mancini tactics -__- this team in transition, give them a break will you? from 3 man defence to 4 man defence, from slow pace to play with a maximum of 2 touches, etc
“Shit saves” ??? XD
It is, indeed, his job, and he’s damn good at it.
Thank you, Samir Batmanovic! What a guy…
I hope they were just “saving” motivation for Roma. Don’t even want to consider they’ve lost motivation in their 2nd game with Mancio 😛
Handanovič has really been one of the standing pillars of Inter ever since we bought him. He was a steal for that price, considering how much he brings to the team.
If only we’d made some money off Julio Cesar on top of getting a beast like Handanovic… Ah, all the mistakes this club made back then…

This is what I’m talking about. We need changes to gain back our confidence, let hope that Handa doesn’t tired of being most important player almost every game. Sixth saved penalty in a row, i think that Batmanovic is the best penalty saver in the world right now.
I’m pretty sure he is, yes 🙂 Without doubt #1 penalty stopper in the world. One of the top 10 goalkeepers overall if you ask me.
I’d put him on top 5
Definitely. It makes me sick when people go on about Neuer-as a keeper in teams that dominate possession he hardly has saves to makes some matches. And he’s no penalty expert-n.b. ucl final 2012 lol Batmanovic has a lot of input in most matches owing to Inter’s poor defence. And he sure shines 🙂
He sounds unhappy. And he’s right to be. I hope we make the right purchase in January and improve and manage to keep him.
